Senior HTML5 Application Developer (6 Month Contract)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a senior html5 application developer to work as part of the development team alongside design and UX, to build a HTML5 financial application. You will have experience building robust Javascript based applications and be familiar with test-driven development processes. You will have a strong attention to detail and be familiar with design practices to ensure the quality of the final product

PROJECT OVERVIEW

We are looking for senior developers to integrate into our Front End team for a new way of life product that is codenamed 'Project Wonderful'. The project is designed to revolutionise the banking industry by making it's products unrecognisable as banking products and to instead to serve the underlying human needs of the people. This is a future focussed product suite targeting the early adopters digital native market with a strong bend on making the Front End easily translatable to the world of wearable tech.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- work part of a collaborative agile development team reporting to the team manager (scrum master)
- attending daily stand-ups and planning meetings
- produce production ready, fully testable code and standards based HTML
- be responsible for testing against device and browser Matrix
- be prepared to contribute to design and development discussion.

The developer will be joining a integrated highly collaborative team so it's important that they are comfortable with this type or working environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Expert with AngularJS
- Expert CSS3, including animation and experience with using CSS3 3d transitions
- Experience drawing with D3.js
- Experience with Canvas
- Experience using Yeoman, Grunt & Bower
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing (Mocha, Jasmine etc)
- Experience developing robust applications
- Familiar with Agile and Lean processes
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Attention to visual detail
