SENIOR HR OFFICER VACANCY
LONDON - NOVEMBER START

£120 A DAY

My client a local government organisation in London is currently seeking a Senior HR Officer within the schools directorate for a period of 9 months

The main duties are:
Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the LA's Human Resources strategies, policies and procedures as they apply to schools.
Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external partners to identify scope for co-ordinated approaches to delivery of human resources services to schools.
Develop and implement appropriate management information systems to enhance the provision of statutory and other employment information and identify, and where appropriate take action to Remedy shortcomings in performance.
Work with schools to identify individual workforce plans, taking account where appropriate of the Council's overall Workforce Plan, and to develop workforce initiatives which support their short, medium and long-term skills profile requirements.
Collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues to identify learning and development needs, design and deliver customised human resources training for head teachers, governors and line managers.

The successful candidate must have worked within a council previously at a similar level and be available immediately.
