Senior HR Consultant

Interim Contract for 3-6 months, with possibility for extension

£150 - £200 per day (LTD)

Full Time - 35 hours per week

Location: County Hall, Chelmsford

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Interim Senior HR Consultant to join one of the most forward thinking councils in the country to join a team of supportive and engaged HR professionals.

As a senior HR Consultant you will work closely with managers and other areas of HR to ensure change programmes are managed and implemented effectively. Ideal candidates would be educated to degree level with a professional qualification (CIPD) or equivalent work based experience.

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate:

- A proven track record of delivering medium and large scale change projects with employment law and HR knowledge around restructuring and TUPE
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare employee support packs and speak at face to face consultation briefing
- A relationship building and partnership working approach and the ability to work effectively with teams across HR and the rest of the organisation
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- A commercial approach with the ability to balance the sometimes competing pressures of legislation, corporate policy and business needs to achieve outcomes within the appropriate level of risk

In return the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop and gain experience from working in a large and complex organisation that is currently going through a significant transformation programme.
