Senior HR Advisor

THE ROLE

We are looking for a superb all round HR generalist with a proactive, "can do" attitude to cover a period of maternity leave (4/5 months). You will ideally be CIPD qualified or studying towards the qualification. You will also have excellent communication skills and relationship building ability.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support in a number of areas including:

- Working as a HR representative of the Company handling day to day HR related issues
- Participate in the implementation of company-wide HR programs with the rest of the HR Team
- Monitor compliance with all employment related policies and practices to ensure consistency in administration of policies and practices among employees and managers
- Responsibility for managing the training process
- Manage the processing of all leavers by liaising with the business, the individual and HR Operations to ensure a smooth departure
- Manage ER issues such as grievances and disciplinaries & escalate in a timely manner if required
- Ad hoc HR projects and initiatives

THE PERSON

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Previous experience at Generalist HR BP or HR Advisor level, managing the full spectrum of HR related activities
- Experience of SAP HR system would be useful
- Possess a good understanding of employment legislation
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Strong ER experience
- Be efficient carrying out administration duties as well as coordinating and managing activities/projects
- Be tenacious and assertive
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
