Our client, a FTSE250 company based in Swindon, require a Senior HR Advisor to join their team. You must have TUPE experience and have a blue chip/corporate background.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Advise and manage the employee relations and HR aspects of a major change programme regarding TUPE and redundancy, including the consultation process.
Support business areas in mitigation of employee relations risks.
Enable business strategy by ensuring the legal requirements of information and consultation are fulfilled
Responsible for engaging and actioning any HR requirements relating to any Request for Proposals with Vendors.

Project management skills - ability to deliver initiatives to time, quality and cost
Relationship management - ability to cooperate/collaborate
Influencing skills - ability to persuade and challenge in a constructive, positive way
Ability to deal with conflicting pressures and politics effectively whilst maintaining sound working relations
Ability to work with ambiguity and use own judgement in situations where answers are not obvious
Decision making and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Technical Skills:

SAP KP3 management (desirable)
MS Office skills

Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of TUPE and its application, and consultation activities
Sound knowledge of leading HR principles, practices and models and their application in meeting business requirement
Comprehensive and up to date knowledge in employment legislation; case law and ACAS guidelines
Knowledge of IT organisation - its structure and roles (desirable)

Qualifications:

Professional qualification in Human Resource Management (eg MCIPD or equivalent)

Experience:

Accomplished HR practitioner within a large scale, complex organisation
Experience of supporting change & transformation programmes
Experienced of managing TUPE and redundancy exercises including the consultation process
Experience of dealing with third party suppliers/outsourcing providers
