Senior Helpdesk Technician Contract role in Brussels Belgium

Our client in Brussels Belgium is looking for a FRENCH speaking Senior Helpdesk Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

- Experienced in all facets of IT. Help Desk support (Hardware and Software)
- Working as a key member of the IT Helpdesk team, providing hands-on client support to end users
- Managing SLA's and ensuring support tickets are handled via the correct defined systems and to the correct high standards.
- Tier 2 Client Support functions in line with global ITSM processes.
- Ability to be technical lead for the IT helpdesk operatives, and a point of escalation if required
- Work closely with the IT infrastructure team to ensure IT services are reliable.
- Plan and implement additions, deletions and local modifications to the supporting IT systems companywide in line with Client global IT policies and procedures.
- Support local clients, as demand requires.
- Ensure availability and reliability of all IT Services to end users. Monitoring service levels accordingly.
- Lead by example, providing clear instruction to sub-ordinates.
- Ensure all IT Helpdesk staff maintain a high Customer Satisfaction rating.
- Ensure that company procedures are followed regarding expenditure for IT consumables and hardware.
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- Participate in and actively support company initiatives
- Follow all health and safety directives as required
- All other duties as relevant to the post

START: AUGUST 2017
DURATION: 6 MONTHS + POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS
LOCATION: BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
LANGUAGE: FRENCH AND ENGLISH
RATE: MARKET (ALL INCLUSIVE)
