Senior Healthcare Data Analyst

Yoh has an immediate opening for a SENIOR HEALTHCARE DATA ANALYST to join our client in Center City, Philadelphia PA. This is a six (6) month + contract opportunity, with the possibility to go permanent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.
- Utilize analytical skills to analyze data and produce high value reports for upper management
- May provide technical support on data warehouse teams. Data set sizes are usually huge (in excess of hundreds of millions of records).
- Move from one sequential assignment to the next (work environment and priorities can change quickly depending on business needs).
- Move data between production systems and across multiple platforms.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five to seven (5 - 7 +) years of overall experience with two (2+) years of experience with Healthcare and/or medical data.
- Expertise in data quality, data governance, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.
- Ability to extract data from various sources, analyze and provide succinct reports.
- STRONG functional knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, HIPAA, CPT-4, etc.
- Experience with major querying tools is preferred.
- Works substantially with little supervision or oversight to deliver key milestones.
- Less than 30 days to self-sufficiency.
- SAS, SQL, MS Office, Macros, and some Visual - basic experience.
- Ability to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team lead while influencing within the team.
