Senior Healthcare Accountant - min 3 Month Contract

SR HEALTHCARE ACCOUNTANT

Description:
-Preparation of Journal Entries
-Preparation of Financial Results for Reporting and analysis
-Preparation of Payroll files for Reporting and analysis
-Preparation of various Reports
-In addition to standard accounting duties, we need an individual that can assist with a project to load Financial Reporting data into an Access database which will facilitate a more automated Financial and Payroll reporting process.
-Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues including the maintenance of internal controls.
-Participates in and implements monthly financial close, supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets.
-PREPARES MONTHLY MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL REPORTING PACKAGE AND EXECUTIVE SUMMARY SCHEDULES. -Coordinates and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:
-Experience performing journal entries and accounting related tasks in fast paced environment
-Experience working within Claims environment or Healthcare Industry
-Advanced Excel, strong PowerPoint and Access
-Candidates must be proficient with pivot tables, and vlookup functionality.
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
-Min 6 years relevant experience
-Ability to Multitask
-Ability to quickly learn new tasks
-Project Management experience would be great but not required
-Presentation skills would be great but not required
