Purpose and Description: This solution consultant position will report to Director of Strategic Projects in Care Delivery BIO and will provide complete Technical analysis and design support, requirements documentation. This position will provide documentation and analytical support which will be key achieving results for the DEA Electronic Prescription Controlled Substance Project. 

Essential Functions 
Business and technical analysis and design support 
Development of Requirements documentation 
Development of Logical Solution Design document 
Act as consultant and provide information for the Physical Solution Design 
Participate in project meetings and design reviews 
Provide Technical Support for Pilot 
Participate in project meetings and design reviews 

Required Experience: 
10 Years of IT experience in Healthcare industry with clinical modules. 
A minimum of 3 year of experience with EMR support, and strong system analysis and design skills; with proven experience in the Healthcare industry. 
Experience with support of EMR applications of inbound and outbound HL7 interfaces. 
Experience with EPIC application support with interfaces. 
Experience in writing functional and technical requirements documents, and the development of Solution Design. 

Preferred Experience 
Experience with support of HealthConnect applications of inbound and outbound HL7 interfaces. 
Experience with EPIC and HealthConnect application support with interfaces. 
Certification in EPIC 2010 Bridges Administrator. 
Experience writing requirements and providing solution design and logical solution design. 
Experience with traditional IT project and Certification in HL 7 V2.5 Control Specialist desired. 
Experience with Enterprise Change Management applications (Remedy) software. 

Required Education: 
Bachelor's degree in Technology desired/HS Diploma Required.
