Senior Hardware Design Engineer - Glasgow Senior Hardware Design Engineer required from a growing clients in the city centre of Glasgow, with great rail links near Buchanan Street Station. My client requires an all-rounder with a minimum of 5 years design & implementation of digital and analogue embedded hardware. My client have secure projects/contracts with the government and non-government organsations, you will be exposed to working on bleeding edge next-gen equipment working with a highly passionate team. The products that you will be mainly concentrating on with be video and audio based applications, so any experience with VOIP will be advantageous, other skills required will be: - -Mixed analogue/digital embedded board design -Signal integrity design with high speed digital -Familiar with ARM microcontrollers and their support electronics -FPGA design, Xilinx tool set -DSP design, TI, AD -High speed memory interfaces, DDR2 & DDR3 -High speed A to D convertors -Switched mode power supplies -Cadence tools flow, schematic entry in Orcad, layout in Allegro (or equivalent schematic/layout tools). -Design for EMC and environmental compliance testing If you are interested in joining this growing business, apply today to secure an interview for later this week.
