Senior Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-You develop liquid handling solutions from concept to detailed design considering costs, reliability, tolerance calculations, manufacturing aspects and serviceability
-You work in close collaboration with other disciplines like electronics and fluid dynamics and integrate their concepts and design
-You are responsible for the component (pumps, valves, probes etc.) evaluation for liquid handling solutions considering cost and lifetime aspect
-You translate functional, performance, regulatory, manufacturing and service requirements into design and review your solutions with the corresponding stakeholders
-You define and control interfaces with other system elements
-You define and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual parts

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor/Master of Science or PhD in mechanical engineering
-You are experienced in product development from concept to detailed design
-You know how to integrate different components from different disciplines into design
-You have good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders (service, manufacturing etc)
-Being experienced in the field of liquid handling solution development is beneficial
-Fluency in German and English (oral and written)
