Senior Graphic Designer Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER to join our client in Luling, LA, near Kenner, LA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork for publications such as magazines, brochures, handbooks, and posters, translating facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning.
- Develops interpretive themes that convey ideas and information.
- Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions.
- Provides guidance on graphic technology. Works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums.
- May provide computer graphic services for web artwork.
- May also have responsibility or input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors.
- Entry (Inexperienced) Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
- Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
- Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities.
- Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization.
- Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Advanced proven MS PowerPoint skills for developing presentations for corporate and business environment.
- The position is looking for someone with combination of Graphic design and Microsoft PowerPoint skill sets to develop high quality presentations.
- BA degree.
- Five to eight (5 - 8) years of experience.
