Senior Functional EDI Analyst

OPPORTUNITY:

Do you have Joint Application Design (JAD) experience and have worked with State Welfare and Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) in design, development or implementation? If so, we want to hear from you! Our client is searching for multiple Senior Healthcare/Eligibility Business Analysts for a variety of locations including California, Iowa and Ohio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing State Welfare/Eligibility Subject Matter Expertise.
- Participating in the planning or design, development or implementation phase of Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) for various customers. 
- Requirements gathering.
- Facilitating and leading Joint Application Design (JAD) or other design sessions.
- Creating technical specifications to be used by developers.
- Translating requirements into functional design.
- Writing use cases, creating process flows, and/or creating system architecture diagrams and sequence documents.
- Designing screen layouts and navigational flows.
- Developing design specifications for correspondence, reports or interfaces.
- Writing test cases, creating test scenarios, or participating in testing activities for new functionality in a State Welfare/Eligibility Determination system.
- Revising business or technical operations to accommodate the change.

REQUIREMENTS: 

- 5-7 years' experience in the Health and Human Services Eligibility Determination and case management business area.
- Knowledge in State Welfare Eligibility programs including SNAP, TANF and Medicaid with expert knowledge in at least 2 of the 3 areas.
- Experience in leading policy changes or implementation of new Eligibility Determination programs.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree.
- 25% Travel
