Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Senior Functional/Business Analyst - Bilingual for a 6 months contract opportunity. The position is located in Montreal.

Responsibilities

Translates business systems requirements into a physical systems design. This includes the formulation of recommendations regarding alternatives and options. It also includes the development of technical specifications for systems development, design and implementation.

Tasks

The specific requirement is for the provision of Functional Analyst services. Specific tasks may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

- Based on the Preliminary Analysis and System Architecture, document business functions (unit task specifications), data, technical, operational and data conversion requirements (business rules).
- Prepare test plans and test cases for the implementation of solutions
- Perform integrated testing and support users during the implementation
- Participate in the development of user documentation, user acceptance test cases, user help and user training programs and ensure transfer of knowledge to support group
- Analyze the feasibility of technical options, propose, develop and validate solutions
- Participate in business process reengineering projects. Coordinate needs and requirements between the vendors and internal clients.

Rated Functional/Technical

- Relevant experience in business analysis project in a technology infrastructure
- Experience in analysis of requirements in projects implementation of complex IT systems
- Experience in systems analysis, development, design, testing and implementation
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications and systems
- Experience with relational database technologies Experience in the use of development tools and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools
- Experience in creating test plans, developing test procedures, and carrying the testing activities. Experience with test scenario software; development, functional testing, data and application correction
- Experience with leading focus groups/working groups
- Experience with developing Business Intelligence and operational reporting requirements definition Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
- Experience in BABOK
- Experience in Macroscope - Centre productivité (P+)
- Fluent in both Official Languages
