Senior Functional Analyst (Investment Funds)

The client is a large Financial organisation in Luxembourg with an urgent requirement as follows:- Investment Funds & Fix Team, is looking for 1 external resource as stated here below:

Senior Functional Analyst (f/m)
for Vestima+.* (project in relation with Investment Funds)

Tasks/Responsibilities:
As a Senior Functional Analyst, the main task of the candidate is to participate to Business/Functional Requirement Analysis (SRA) document in Clearstream's projects.

The candidate shall be able to perform detailed analysis within the financial sector seeking to liaise business and IT perspectives
The candidate shall be able to support Quality Assurance preparation and execution phases.

The candidate will be involved in the related activities within the Functional Analyst team of Investment Funds.

Qualifications/Required Skills:
Significant experience (minimum 7 years) as functional/business analyst  with major contributions in the modelling of functional systems requirement for large and complex IT projects.

Ability to learn rapidly new business domains and to produce detailed functional/business designs.
Very good knowledge of modelling techniques and standards of the industry.
Very good knowledge of the financial industry areas, ideally in Investment Funds and/or Settlement.

A good knowledge of the Hedge and Mutual Fund industry is an asset.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.

Excellent command of English verbal and written communication skills.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate that he/she has already successfully achieved similar tasks in previous experiences.

Assignment Details:
Location: Luxembourg
Starting date: 01 March 2014
Basis: full-time
Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until the end of 2014 (with an option of extension)
Initial contract: for 3 months (optional extension)
