Senior Front End Engineer

Currently we are looking for a Senior Engineer with full-stack experience to help in the development and maintenance of extensive name brand websites and applications.

This position is required to have a solid grounding in web technologies, a passion for working with customers, and the ability to work with leadership and distributed teams. The best candidates will have hands-on experience building web-based interfaces using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.

OVERVIEW

- Develop code using HTML, JavaScript, Freemarker, CSS, AS3 and JSP
- Maintain and support a wide range of enhancements, changes and revisions
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams and business units
- Deliver on time with the highest quality

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years' experience developing world class web applications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- In-depth expertise with modern JavaScript libraries
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, XML, JSON, AJAX, with portfolio
- Experience with responsive web design practices
- Excellent cross-browser testing and bug fixing skills
- Experience integrating with Back End technologies
- Familiarity with FreeMarker or other templating agents a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to delivering high quality software on time
- Server Side coding skills (Ruby, Java, C++) strongly preferred
- Server technologies, databases, etc.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new applications and frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with an ability to collaborate in a multi-time zone environment

- Experience with authoring and customizing Wordpress and WP Plugins
- Familiarity with social network APIs and integration
- Familiarity with Twitter APIs and integration

- Deep understanding of HTTP protocols, REST architectures, build tools, server technologies, MongoDB, etc.
