Senior Firewall engineer required for a 4 month contract.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain the configuration/availability and system life cycle of all key perimeter/internal security devices in region. Respond to incident escalation requirements from security tools and support SOC functions in region
The following are some of the duties required but are not definitive:
oFirewall policy maintenance
o Completing Standard/Major/Emergency changes (Juniper SRX, Checkpoint, CISCO)
o Troubleshoot technical issues
o Monitoring and response to device health (Solarwinds)
o Complete new Firewall installations as required
oIDS/IPS management
o Management and maintenance of IDS/IPS (CISCO, ISS)
oWeb Proxy management
o Completing Standard/Major/Emergency changes (CISCO Ironport/WSA)
o Troubleshoot technical issues
o Monitoring and response to device health (Solarwinds)
o Complete new Firewall installations as required
