SENIOR FINANCIALS S4HANA CONSULTANT
POSITION GOALS:
The Finance IT organization is looking for a senior SAP S4HANA Financials consultant. This IT role will have a primary role to the delivery of the Global Template and Localization requirements into the new finance platform, specifically focused on the General Ledger solution (SAP S4 Finance) and business processes.
As a systems analyst you will be working with different projects and finance teams to analyze complex business processes & requirements, specify appropriate technical solutions, and work with the various teams to deliver these solutions.
MAIN TASKS/ACTIVITIES:
- Active involvement in the extension of the Global Template from design and technical delivery point of view
- Gathering of customer requirements, preparing specifications and customizing solutions
- Working with more senior staff to improve knowledge and skills in S4HANA Financials area
- Assisting in the optimization of business processes to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
- Support the testing and promotion of changes via ChaRM throughout our system landscape
- Advising finance colleagues on the optimum system usage
- Cooperating with finance colleagues and power users around the Globe
- Participation in the various global roll-in projects we have in the pipeline
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid understanding of Accounting, Controlling and Banking processes, preferably in an insurance or broader financial sector environment
- At least 8 years of SAP FI (New GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO experience in customizing and testing within a minimum of 3 global full cycle implementations
- Knowledge of USGAAP/IFRS and local accounting standards
- Analytical thinking, and a structured way of working and an ability to get things done
- Strong client relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Fluency in English
- Past experience in Global roll-in projects where off-shore and near-shore teams are involved
- Experience with S/4 HANA, Fiori and Embedded BW/BPC is also a definite plus
- Debugging and HANA modelling skills will be highly valued in the selection process
