Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

A large retail company based in Hertfordshire is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to start immediately.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing financial statements, annual report and half year results
* Liaising with group's auditors to assist in preparing year end audit
* Take ownership of group subsidiary entities
* Providing guidance in relation to IFRS accounting matters
* Filing corporation tax returns for all UK companies

Ideal candidate:

* ACA qualified - Ideally with a Retail background
* Experience of preparing audit financial statements under IFRS
* Strong reporting system knowledge (Oracle/SAP)
* Highly numerate, analytical and keen to learn
* Personable with strong communication skills
