Senior Financial Analyst Job

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Carlsbad, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Primary role for the FP&A Team to support the Selling, G&A and Regulatory groups.
- Lead the annual process in planning and monthly/quarterly forecasting of performance against plan
- Lead analysis and communication actual variance between budget, forecast and historical performance
- Work closely with managers to forecast financial results.
- Develops and manages monthly reporting package and associated review with senior management and business unit leaders
- Prepare monthly/yearly sales quotas and commissions with minimal supervision
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies in the organization
- Identify opportunities to expand scope of services to improve timeliness, accuracy and/or efficiency
- Additional tasks including special projects

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- S. in accounting, finance or related field 3-5 years of experience required in finance or accounting
- CPA Preferred
- Worked in other FP&A teams and has been in a key role as senior lead position for a 2 plus years
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Access & PowerPoint, Essbase & HFM and/or a similar planning and analysis system/tools.
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines
