Senior Financial Analyst (CAP)

DUTIES:

- The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the monthly management of financial activity, including various capitation payments, Shared Risk Analysis, provider incentives, claims analysis, journal entry preparation, account analysis, month-end reconciliations, and preparation of financial reporting tools for contracted Participating Provider Groups for all product lines of business.
- Interfaces and serves as liaison with multiple departments.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Excellent advanced PC and database skills including Excel, Word and Access.
- 4-8 years experience in a healthcare setting, (HMO and IPA).
- Extensive knowledge of capitation Shared Risk and demonstrated ability to work with complex databases.
- Must have strong accounting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and excellent database skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- MBA.
- Medi-Cal Knowledge.
- Medicare experience.
- QXT experience.
- MHC knowledge.
