World leading IT company are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Erskine. This Senior Financial Analyst would ideally be SC Cleared but if not must be willing to go through the process.

Key Activities
+ Reporting - Generates Month End Close and Forecasting Reports, ad-hoc reports to Balance Sheet and P&L.

+ Project Accounting - Support contract finance leads across core activities - Month End Close, Forecasting/Budgeting, Balance Sheet Review, Commercial Support and Business Support.

+ Project Structure - Creates and maintains project structure hierarchy in the Project Accounting system

+ Order Acceptance and Booking - Responsible for gathering data to complete Order acceptance and Booking.

+ Customer Invoicing - Responsible for executing client billing/credit, invoice release and invoice presentation

Responsibilities:
+ Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company.

+ Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (eg, profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (eg, Mergers & Acquisitions).

+ Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analysing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.

+ Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies.

+ Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally.

+ Ensures strong business controls.

+ Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful.

+ Provides highly innovated solutions.

+ Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.

+ Develops strategy andleads large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations longterm goals and objectives.

+ Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions. Thorough level of knowledge of tactical accounting/financial analysis. Exposure to specific specialty financial area at this level is highly desirable.
