Senior Financial Accountant- ZUG AREA - International Company

The CLIENT

Our client is a large group employing more than 40 000 people worldwide and having operations all around the globe.

In order to support the growth of the department, they are looking for a new SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT.

The ROLE

The role will be spread between accounting (main part), reporting and controlling duties. You will report to the Head of finance and accounting and your main tasks will be:

* Maintain international books according to IFRS and provide a monthly reporting to Consolidation
* Ensure the relevant steps for IFRS closing (capitalization, accruals, provisions, etc.)
* Prepare IFRS necessary information for the notes for Consolidation (investments, mark-to-market calculation, stamp duty declaration for securities, etc.)
* Review overhead costs and finance results
* Collaboration with different internal departments (Finance, accounting) in order to understand and monitor the bookings
* Prepare the statutory financial statements (following Swiss Code of Obligations)+ statutory sub-consolidation (for theUKbranch)
* Preparation and follow up of the audits + preparation with the Tax Department for IFRS and statutory audit and tax declaration
* Ad hoc projects and support (accounting, reporting or controlling oriented)

The PROFILE

* You have a degree in accounting + min.6 years of professional experience in Accounting
* You have a large experience with IFRS financial statements and monthly closings + Swiss GAAP
* You have a CPA or ACCA certification or similar+ experience in the area of international closing
* You are IT literate (MS Office, mainly Excel) and you know very well SAP (FICO)
* You speak English and German
* You are flexible, multinational and open minded, good communicator and reliable
