Senior Finance Programme Manager, WE ARE Direct Supplier TO the Custom

For our customer we are looking for a Senior Finance Programme Manager.

Job description:
The key role for the Programme Manager for the programme is to drive the strategic simplification change in Transaction Product (TP)/Cash Management - in coordination with and under the guidelines of the bank-wide Simplification initiative.

The programme involves significant change and is of high complexity, since the development of a new payment platform and the transition onto the new payment solution structure, will take place in parallel to handling daily operations to the major current clients and as the payment area is undergoing significant changes with new entrants trying to capture parts of the banks value chains. Given the impact and potential severity of any errors in the service to these customers, the programme has Top- and Senior-Management attention.

The complexity of the Programme Managers role is increased by the fact that the Programme will take place simultaneously with a number of other simplification initiatives under the group-wide Simplification Programme. The Programme will have significant dependencies to/from these group-wide initiatives and it will require great analytical, cooperation and influencing skills to ensure the dependences are handled in time and with success.

A programme at this customer is a structure driving a change towards a strategic ambition. As the opposite a project or a portfolio of projects is a structure created to deliver a more well defined list of deliverables.

The Programme Manager for the programme needs to have experience in:

Facilitating the breakdown of the strategic ambition into a sequence of deliveries - and adjust the sequence and deliveries as the surrounding change during the programme lifetime
Setting up an efficient programme structure which caters for some projects being in scoping phase, some in specification phase and some in delivery phase
Coaching and following up on project managers in all the different phases and working with stakeholders of all organisational levels
Balancing business and IT change and capable of handling dependences to the many surrounding parallel programmes

In short being able to work on strategic, tactical and operational level and switch between the different approaches on a daily basis. The customer is moving towards using agile development process and it is a requirement the Programme Manager either have experience with agile development or a solid understanding of and believe in moving towards agile development.

The Programme Manager will be anchored in the Business organisation to ensure the programme roadmap is linked into business strategies. All project managers and programme support functions will report to the Programme Manager.

In Business and Line, two teams of full time people are working in the programme. The full journey is led by Business Partner and IT Partner. As Programme Manager the candidate will be leading the work closely in close cooperation with the Business Partner and IT partner.

As Programme Manager the candidate will have a programme management office to facilitate the execution of the programme.

The estimated cost of the full programme is 110 mEUR and the duration 4 years. Currently 150 employees/consultants are allocated to the programme.

KPIs in the position will be further defined by the customer as part of the employment process. But in general the KPIs in the Programme Manager position are based on the customer value model.

It will be a plus if the consultant knows about Agile metode- SAFe.
