An excellent opportunity has arisen within a global IT Consultancy to join as a Contract Finance Manager.

Manager overseeing the UK entities Accounting, managing the Cash department forthe WEMEA region and the relationship with EMEA AP SSC of a US technology company. Manage 4 direct reports including a Cash Supervisor, 2 GL accountants and an accounting manager. Fast paced, ever changing environment, requires enthusiastic, proactive, dedicated professional with proven ability previous
success in a similar environment.

ROLE:

- Responsible for overseeing multiple legal entities
- Managing WEMEA Cash function with Cash supervisor 
- Managing the relationship with AP SSC
- Working knowledge of UK and US GAAP
- Ability to manage and streamline 3 day close
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Review of journals and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance for VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales Regulations in UK
- Statutory Accounting preparation and liaise with Auditor
- Ensure monthly compliance with Company SOX controls requirements
- Oversee complex banking relationships with multiple entities
- Manage, coach and motivate staff
- Co-ordinate monthly and quarterly flux analysis
- Prepare Cash Flow Forecast
- Oversee daily JV settlements
- Manage multiple I/Co billing and settlements
- Oversee and co-ordinate accounting issues relating to acquisitions and Joint ventures
- Other Ad hoc

SKILLS:

- Strong interpersonal skills
- A successful proven history in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven history of staff management and development
- 6 to 7 years hands on working experience, within a  managerial position
- Must have ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Oracle 11i experience is desirable
- Experience with SOX and US GAAP preferred
