Projektbeschreibung

Description
*To manage and develop the accounting function for the AMI Europe and Newton business lines
*To partner with the LoB decision support finance teams
*Manage, develop and motivate the accounting team to deliver best-in-class accounting services
*Foster excellent, collaborative, working relationship with decision support and other finance teams
*Provide support for finance-wide initiatives
*Oversee and control the monthly close process, ensuring no day 3 entries
*Strive for satisfactory balance of control and efficiency by considering alternative locations for different functions
*Manage the SOX processes and work towards the elimination of all deficiencies
*Liaise with internal and external auditors as appropriate
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and corporate accounting policy
*Oversee the production of balance sheet reconciliations to a good standard
*Provide ad hoc analysis as required by business or sector finance
*Provide financial support for acquisitions, divestitures.
*Comply with all corporate policies and procedures operating within the department.
*Alert management immediately of any significant changes to business risks and internal control effectiveness.
*Notify management and/or Compliance immediately on discovery of any regulatory breach.
*Comply with Heath and safety policies and procedures operating within the business.
*As part of this responsibility, ensure that the nature and extent of management information provided to members of the Executive Committees, either directly or indirectly, is appropriate to enable them to play their part in identifying, measuring, managing and controlling risks of regulatory concern.
*Develop team members so as to maximise their output, job satisfaction and ability to grow within a dynamic and high growth business

Qualifications

Minimum Experience.
*Qualified accountant with significant experience in a control focus environment
*Experience of leading and managing change and operate confidently within a multi-location, multi-function finance division
*Experience of leading and execution of finance projects (system and process change and implementation and acquisition and divesture
*Experience of overseeing and controlling the monthly close process
*Knowledge of US and UK GAAP and IFRS.
*Experience of working in financial services (particularly Asset Management) is preferred
*Hands on approach
