Senior Exploration Geologist Gold - FIFO Perth

Mining has commenced with this Emerging producer and it is an exciting time for this company.
They also have a highly prospective exploration tenure and are looking to develop this further

Reporting to the Exploration Manager and leading an exploration team you will be responsible for the management and development of exploration projects near there lucrative operation

Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Supervision of geological staff
- Supervision of RC and Diamond resource definition drilling and other programmes
- Structural interpretation at prospect scale
- Resource estimation
- Design and implementation of exploration programmes
- Target definition and ranking
- Budget control
- A degree level qualification in Geology
- Minimum 8 years exploration experience
- Gold and or base metals exploration experience
- A demonstrated record of strong technical ability and good geological judgement
- Experience with Micromine or Mapinfo
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Resource definition drilling & inputs to resource estimation.
- RC and Diamond drilling, and preferably RAB
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
