Senior Event/Delivery Manager

My client is a leading telecommunications company.

They are currently looking for an Event Manager. This is a contract opportunity

Responsibilities include:

- Attending meetings across various locations
- Owning a weekly upgrade event (an event will be a list of sites that need to be upgraded in a specified week) and will need to ensure it is managed through to completion
- Assisting in the clearing of issues that suppliers may raise as a product of their survey pre-event. They will relate to the acquisition, design, and build of the sites in the event
- Ensure the warehouse team are aware of all kit requirements for each event
- Ensure fixed and core network data build resources are scheduled and manage task completion
- Ensure radio data build scripts are created and delivered
- Ensure all tracking milestones which have been agreed are completed in a timely fashion
- Communication effectively with all managers and suppliers and communicate with the delivery team in general

Key Criteria:

- Full driving licence
- Be willing to work away from normal office locations at a short notice
- Understanding of safety responsibilities and company policies for the environment
- Fully proficient in management of delivery of all radio site types
- Good managerial skill as role requires high level of motivation, leadership and rapid decision making
