CYBERTEAM ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR ETL INFORMATICA POWERCENTER DEVELOPER FOR A EXISTING CLIENT FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT.
We are now looking for a Senior ETL Developer with Back End experience to our development and maintenance team. ODW uses Informatica PowerCenter 9.0.1 as ETL-tool and the Netezza data warehouse appliance. For the Front End users, all reports are built in Cognos 10.2. The Cognos reports are mostly sourced from IBM Cognos Dynamic Cubes and in some cases, database tables.
The perfect candidate is a committed data warehousing specialist, with a yearning to maintain, innovate and improve. The candidate is open-minded, team spirited and is able to take responsibility. Furthermore, you are careful, analytical and thrive in a dynamic working environment with constant change. You can also work independently and are accountable. You can lead and/or support more junior developers in a prestige less way, and you strive to help them increase their skills and grow in their roles. It is also expected that you can understand minor requirements and come up with suggestions for solutions to be discussed with Solution designers.
As an ETL developer, you will work within an agile Scrum team with requirements analyst, solution designer, ETL developers, Cognos developers and testers, and your main areas of responsibilities will be:
. Development of new components and integrations.
. Support to more junior developers
. Maintenance of existing components.
. Troubleshooting development and production problems.
. Monitoring of daily and weekly loads.
Activities overview
. Development and maintenance of ETL components (workflows, mappings, sessions etc.) in Informatica Power Center.
. Development, Unit and Integration test.
. Documentation.
. Assist in solving production issues.
. On call duty during week-ends may occur.
Required skills
. Several years of experience of Informatica PowerCenter.
. Several years of experience of star schemas in relational databases.
. Knowledge of DataVault
. Experience of retail
. Good analysis ability and skills.
. Experience and knowledge of Agile methods is appreciated.
. Experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse appliances is a plus

. Informatica PowerCenter 9.6.1.
. Netezza, Aginity.
Miscellaneous
. You are a team member but can also work independently when needed.
. You are enterprising and proactive in your daily work.
