Senior Environmental Specialist

Senior Environmental Consultant - Edinburgh/Glasgow I currently require an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join myEdinburghandGlasgowbased client. They are a global consultancy operating over several different countries in a range of sectors. You'll be joining the renewables team and will work on the same projects regardless of which office you work in as there is flexibility to chose either. This role will see you challenged in a range of technically demanding projects with the opportunity to work with a high profile client base. Responsibilities will include: - Offer advice on monitoring for marine mammals - Deliver high quality Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) - Deliver high quality Environmental Management Plans (EMP) - Work closely with internal environmental scientists - Represent the business and promote them within the environmental consultancy marketplace through meetings & conferences etc Requirements: - Degree educated - ideally in Marine Biology or similar - Commercial experience as an environmental consultant - Some project management experience (non essential) - Strong understanding/working experience of EIA process - Coastal or Marine environmental experience - Communication skills must be excellent (essential) In return for your expertise and commitment, you will be offered a competitive salary as well as a full range of benefits including company bonus and private health & dental care.
