Senior Engineer VoIP CS2K - Switzerland

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Senior Engineer VoIP CS2K to work on a contract basis in Zurich, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the engineering of end client's fixed VoIP network platform to support product development processes in the area of VoIP network.
- Addressing conceptual network reliability, redundancy and quality of service aspect in the domain of VoIP traffic by constantly monitoring and planning network elements and interfaces
- Ensuring controlled VoIP network growth by triggering the client's extensions
- Providing network design and network changes proposals (optimization and/or planning) based on traffic changes and forecasts or project requests
- Providing project management for network changes, extensions
- Initiating and supporting internal implementations within networks
- Building guidelines on how to grow the network in a controlled and structured manner

Qualifications:

- Experience on Genband CS2k, C20 and ACME Session Border Controller platforms
- Must have several years work experience in an Operations and/or Engineering VoIP environment in a telecommunication company
- Degree in Engineering
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP Know-How (eg CCNA)
- Fluency in English, good command of German is preferred
