For our client the European Council we're currently searching an experienced Senior Engineer MS Sharepoint Server.

Operations and support, security and continuity: Analysis, definition, design, integration, implementation, test, deployment, maintenance, support.

Data Centre
•Technical analysis and specifications, architecture, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of computing systems
oPhysical and virtual servers
Setup, tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting MS Windows or Unix/Linux systems
Maintenance of procedures manuals and disaster recovery plans related to the server infrastructure
oDirectory systems
Administration of directory services in a large MS Windows environment (AD, MIIS)
oE-mail systems
Technical analysis and specifications, architecture, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of e-mail systems
oDatabase systems (Oracle or MS-SQL)
oSharePoint systems
Providing technical support for the Sharepoint Governance team
Managing the SharePoint farms, including Windows OS and SQL administration related to SharePoint
Monitoring SharePoint disk space usage through the built-in SharePoint reports for each site collection
Managing SharePoint permissions
Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint usage and activity
Manages the Microsoft SCOM 20012 servers in order to monitor SharePoint, SQL, Windows clusters and OS
Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites
Regularly analyzing SharePoint content and storage
Monitoring SharePoint trends (eg site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)
Auditing the SharePoint environment
Checking for and applying operating system, SQL Server and SharePoint patches and cumulative updates
Plans and performs SharePoint upgrades and migrations B2B or V2V
Performs SharePoint and SQL backups and restores
Provides support for SharePoint and SQL developers
oEnterprise Project Management systems
oStorage and backup systems
oSecurity systems
oDeployment of applications and middleware components
oInfrastructure management

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•Master Degree in IT or related matter or Bachelor Degree
•Complemented by 7 years of professional experience in IT
•Design, integration, deployment, troubleshooting and operation of MS SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 and 2013
•Design, integration, deployment, troubleshooting and operation of SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2012
•Microsoft Windows Server systems administration
•MCSE: SharePoint 2013
•MCSA: SQL Server 2012
•MCSE: Business Intelligence or Data Platform (SQL 2012)
•Performance tuning, database optimization
•T-SQL
•Windows Power Shell and scripting
•Microsoft Cluster Service in a SQL context.
•Use of Microsoft SCOM for SharePoint Server and SQL monitoring
•Usage of SQL Server in conjunction with IIS
