Senior Engineer (IPTV)

Senior Engineer with some experience guiding a technical team, who understands program requirements and create project plans who has domain experience in the following areas:

VLAN, STP, RSTP, VRRP, xDSL, RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, IGMP, QOS testing & Networking CCNA (R & S)

Required Technical Skills:

Testing in Lab network equipments for IPTV and layer2 services.
Configuring and troubleshooting for IPDSLAM related to broadband Internet services
Configuring and troubleshooting for IPDSLAM and xDSL Routers for IPTV services
Manual Testing, Regression testing of different features of various versions
Creating setup in Lab environment for verification of planned test cases
Writing the Test Cases for Equipments as per system requirements
Testing in Lab network equipments for IPTV and xDSL services in terms of Video streaming, Multicast(IGMP),VLAN configuration,VPI/VCI mapping
Configuring xDSL Routers for IPs,DHCP,PPP,AAA for Internet and Video services.
Configuring and troubleshooting for IPDSLAM related to broadband Internet services
Troubleshooting and Diagnose network connectivity, IPTV issues
Configuring and troubleshooting the IPDSLAM for Layer2 features

Work Scope:

Accountable for guiding team technically and finalizing test plan
Accountable for understanding product requirements
Creating MoPs and knowledge repository
Building understanding of product documentation and IMS technology
Preparing/Reviewing project test plan and Guiding team members for quality delivery
Helping team to execute test plan and reporting faults timely and effectively to seniors/customer
Reporting daily activities and faults to customer/team and defect management
