Senior Engineer - Hosting Solutions - Unrivalled Package

THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading provider of Hosting and Data Center Solutions. At present they are undergoing a number of changes to their business and working with a number of high profile clients. As a result a number of opportunities exist for Senior Engineers.

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeing Senior Engineers to join their Operations Teams. In this role you will be responsible for a range of escalated support, problem management and customer focussed solutions. In this complex hosted environment you will also have responsibility for detailed SOW documents as well as keeping abreast of changes to products and services.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Customer focussed engagement by making extra effort to deliver quality customer service
- Undertaking the timely review of SOW documents to within an agreed timeframe
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems, ensuring clear, concise and timely notes are added to all tickets
- Support and mentor colleagues through sharing of knowledge and experience to ensure quality integrated services to customers.
- Keeping up-to-date on products and services and the underlying technologies.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

In short our client is seeking A senior engineer, with extensive experience across a broad range of networking and systems. The ideal applicant will demonstrate experience with a mix of products and IT services. Experience with outsourcing, dealing with customers, and a broad set of experience with ITIL functions is also desirable.

OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING IN-DEPTH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN AT LEAST 3 OF THE BELOW:

- Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 server
- VMWare or other virtualisation
- Redhat Linux
- Solaris
- Cisco switching, routing and Firewalls
- Juniper switching, routing and Firewalls
- F5 or other network load balancer
