SENIOR ENGINEER - DEVOPS ENGINEER - KAFKA - ZURICH, SWITZERLAND
Working for a leading Swiss technology company in the field of mobile banking, you will be working on an innovative mobile banking app.
We are seeking Senior DevOps or Senior Backend Engineers, who have sufficient experience with Kafka, to work on an app which supports all major banks, and is compatible with iOS and Android. This opportunity is to work for one of the highest valued fintechs in Europe.
KEY SKILLS:
- a minimum of five years experience developing, designing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
- sufficient experience with Kafka
- hands-on experience with highly concurrent production grade systems
- experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Go, Java, C++ and Scala
- troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
- written and oral communication skills
IDEALLY, CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE
- experience with systems for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications, such as Kubernetes and Mesos
- experience with big data technologies, such as Spark, Storm, Flink and Cassandra
- experience with encryption and cryptography standards
