Senior Engineer

YOU! We are looking for a Technical Lead who can lead an Portal Design project for a large telecommunications client. You will be an integral part of the Portal Design Team who are responsible for the platform and software architecture of both Internet facing consumer estate and internal content management systems.

Responsibilities:
*Interfacing with internal customers on translation of business requirements to technical requirements.
*Managing day to day platform/service design
*Involvement in tenders and significant projects
*Developing own experience and knowledge base

Role specific technical skills
*Experience of leading on technical deliverables within a project setting.
*Experience in the design and development of scalable Consumer/Business Web Applications
*Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle, in particular using Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

Excellent documentation skills, particularly:
oTechnical Documentation
oData Modelling
oSoftware/Hardware Architecture
oVisio/PowerPoint etc
*Design, build and test network/application components.
*Ensuring delivery targets are met on time, to budget, and meet applicable quality criteria.
