Senior Engineer

SUMMARY:

- Manage exhaust system requirements, concept designs using CREO, down select designs based on requirements and durability, design exhaust systems including thermal wraps/shields, select suppliers, complete FMEA, APQP and CPPD, release production prints.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independent with little or no supervision.
- Manage customer and business requirements.
- Incorporate requirements into exhaust system designs, perform basic CFD and structural analysis, interpret results, set boundary conditions for detailed flow and structural analysis, interpret results and design exhaust systems based on analysis results.
- Ensure designs are lowest cost effective designs.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Ten + years engineering experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Multiple project management.
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make models in CREO and perform fundamental CFD and FEA analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer generated reports.
- Previous experience with CREO is required.
