Senior Employment & Industrial Relations Lawyer

We have a fantastic PERMANENT opportunity for a dedicated and experienced INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS LAWYER to join our diverse and respected government owned client. In this unique opportunity, you will provide high level legal advice while working closely with senior employee relations advisors and senior human resource advisors addressing all aspects of employment and industrial relations matters.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

- A strong focus on delivering strategic and solution driven legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Extensive experience specialising in employment and industrial relations law obtained in the private sector and/or a government department.
- Thorough knowledge of the relevant employment and workplace legislative framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work relatively autonomously and to deliver practical legal advice which is tailored to meet the clients' business objectives.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in law.
- Admission as a legal practitioner (however described in any State of Australia).
