Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless

CREATIVE, PRO-ACTIVE, QUALITY MINDED INNOVATORS NEEDED FOR A 12 MONTH CONTRACT.

I am looking for an experienced firmware engineer with knowledge of wireless protocols, Real Time systems and development of related software frameworks and test automation. At least 5 years relevant (post academia) commercial experience.

You will be assigned to a well-established and successful team delivering bespoke wireless SoC software frameworks and example software libraries to end customers, depending on their needs/specifications. Customer support is required here.

In this context you will be working within a team including a product management group, software architects and project leaders, where you will define at a high level what the customer needs in the software stack, develop and implement the framework with examples of the software libraries for the customers' design-in phase.

The project is located on-site with a well-known semiconductor vendor in a very attractive city in Belgium called Leuven. Which is located on the Belgian mainline rail network and is 20 minutes from Brussels, 2 hours from Amsterdam.

SKILLS

- Embedded software programming.
- Automated regression test development.
- Real Time software development.
- Customer support/liaison.
- Understanding and knowledge of software architecture.
- Experience of Audio processing and/or DSP software highly desirable.
- Must possess at least 5 years relevant (post academia) commercial experience
