Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Project Description: The candidate will work with the MCG (Mobile & Communications Group) Devices R&D team responsible for USB software development on pre-silicon and reference platforms to deliver USB3 software and hardware solutions to be used across multiple SoC (System on Chip) platforms.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and debug solutions for complex architecture/system issues using formal education, judgment and formal software processes.
- Contribute to design, develop, debug and test USB3 solutions to ultimately create production driver code to include with Embedded OS distributions for the portable device markets, include tablet and smart-phone markets.
- Work with the hardware teams in a pre-silicon environment to determine if the hardware is working as expected.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 6+ years of related work experience
- C Expertise required
- Advanced C++ skills
- Advanced debugging skills
- Advanced Device Driver Dev skills
- Advanced Windows OS skills
