Senior Embedded Software Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work for a client of mine based in Suffolk. There is a great salary and benefits package on offer depending upon the level of experience you have.

You will be working for the NO1 medical diagnostics company in the world. Your role will be to write the software for the medical instruments used for diagnostics. This will involve new product development as well as supporting their legacy products which entails some debugging but also the adding of new features to existing product lines.

You will be working closely in a team of around 10 Software engineers with the addition of some specific verification engineers who will be supporting you through the whole product development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the following:

- Embedded C / Assembler
- Hardware interfacing ideally HL7 or POCT (if not any of the following would be acceptable RS232, USB, Ethernet, UART etc)
- Windows or Linux

The following would also be of benefit:

- Working within an Agile environment
- Dealing with ARM 7 or ARM 9
- Working within the medical domain.
