SENIOR ELECTRONICS SURVEILLANCE ENGINEER - SC CLEARED

We have a new opportunity for a SENIOR ELECTRONICS SURVEILLANCE ENGINEER for a new 12 month contract. This role is based in the Wiltshire area and boasts attractive rates of £300 per day. The rate is negotiable around the £300 per day mark. Current SC security clearance is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Act as a member of a project team, with primary responsibility for integration of the 3rd party radar sensor with Client software
- Assist with field trials on MoD ranges.
- Develop and code algorithms for detection and categorisation of modern comms signals.
- Implement Algorithms on COTS Software Defined Radios Contributing to Technical reports and demonstrations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Digital Signal Processing 'C' family coding.
- Experience of implementing DSP algorithms via software.
- Experience of modern communications standards and protocols.
- Assessing system performance through simulation, field trials and subsequent analysis.
- RF system design Domain knowledge of military Electronic Surveillance.
- Knowledge of modern Radar systems and their associated interfaces.
- Basic principles of RF system design.
- Good Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics.
