Senior Electronics Engineer - FPGA - Newport £55,000 + Benefits

Computer Futures is urgently seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer for our market leading client based in the Newport/Cardiff area.

This is a brand new role within the R&D team due to the profitable year the company has had. The purpose of the role is to create / design new Electronic products to meet company/client specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

* Wireless Comms technology development using FPGA/ASICs
* Expectise in FPGA design and VHDL (and Verilog if possible)
* Expertise in microprocessors/ controllers and peripherals.
* Experience of working to wireless comms standard (3GPP etc).

Additional Skills

* Experience of embedded RT software
* Knowledge of ASIC design process and technology
* Experience of wireless algorithms and performance requirements.
