Senior Electro-Acoustical Engineer Opportunity (permament role) - Munich

For Bragi GmbH we're looking for an experienced Senior Electro-Acoustical Engineer.
You will have the leading role in developing the electro-acoustic performance in close collaboration with your colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams. You will be responsible for designing electro-mechanical systems and mechanical enclosures, as well as working with suppliers choosing the right components. You will also take the lead on the electro-acoustical test environment, both in R&D and production
What you'll be working on:
• In short, designing optimal acoustic performance for the world’s leading hearables company
• Design and perform acoustical analysis of electro-mechanical systems and mechanical enclosures for future products
• Working cross-functionally to ensure our products reach our audio requirements
• Together with engineering teams and vendors evaluate, analyse and select transducers of different kinds (microphones, micro-loudspeakers, etc.)
• Be the architect in refining our electro-acoustical test environment
• Make sure we use best practice electro-acoustic measurements in prototyping, product development and production testing
What we are looking for:
• A university degree in acoustical or electrical engineering, or similar
• Broad experience in electro-acoustical design and testing, probably from having worked with headphones or headsets
• Experienced electro-acoustical designer, with a proven success in several commercial products
• A desire to take on the lead role for the acoustical development of unique products
• Knowledge of audio test equipment and evaluation software and systems
• Relevant understanding of ANSI/IEC acoustics standards
• Experience with production testing is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English
