Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to act as lead based at our headquarters. Responsible for the control, production and quality of design and analysis deliverables and ensuring that all deliverables are issued in accordance with the project schedule and in accordance with the company's' Quality Management System. The job holder will assist with the development of man-hour estimates for proposals.
Main Responsibilities
• Working closely with other engineering disciplines and ensuring that deliverables are consistent and completed within the project schedule and costs.
• Leading the electrical project team working on either multidiscipline or single discipline projects.
• Providing overall electrical engineering technical leadership and expertise during front end and detailed engineering phases of projects.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and client specifications.
• Development and design of LV and MV electrical systems.
• Development of design deliverables such as load lists, single line diagrams, electrical schematics and cable schedules.
• Production of specifications and data sheets for the procurement of electrical equipment.
• Specification of electrical equipment for use in hazardous areas.
• Technical analysis and document approval of both in-house and vendor supplied design packages.
• Participation safety reviews including HAZOPs and HAZIDs.
• Interfacing with other engineering disciplines and project management.

Qualifications
Essential
• Relevant electrical qualification or significant industry experience.
Desirable
• Relevant engineering degree.

Experience & Competency
Essential
• Intermediate - Word & Excel.
• Proven relevant work experience preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Desirable
• Experience of 3rd party inspectorates such as DNV, ABS, Lloyds.
