Senior Electrical Engineer

Electrical Systems Engineer needed for one of the largest EPC companies in the world. Responsible for the activities on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects in electrical engineering. Salary ranges are listed as an approximate and will commensurate with experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews electrical engineering work within a project or assignment in the offshore business line
- Reviews and approves key electrical engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents
- Supervises the day-to-day technical work of electrical engineers, designers and drafters.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly

REQUIREMENTS

- 15+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering of offshore facilities with a BS in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on, working knowledge to carry out load flow study, SC study, relay coordination, arc flash study, motor starting and stability study, etc. using ETAP/SKM/Easy Power, etc.
- Knowledge on developing high and low voltage single line diagrams, control schematics, interconnection, lighting, power and grounding system layout in offshore and onshore facilities
- Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project
