Senior DWH Developer and Tech Lead - Cloudera Hadoop migration project in Zürich, Switzerland

A senior DWH developer is needed for a tier one banking client in Zurich to lead the migration from a classical data warehouse platform to a big data Cloudera Hadoop platform. The role will involve hands-on programming as well as technical leadership of a distributed team of 15-20 people.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced data warehouse (DWH) designer and developer with technical leadership experience. You will have excellent experience working on managed enterprise date warehouse (EDW) platforms as well as expertise with Informatica PowerCenter. You will have experience managing upstream and downstream data streams. While not a must, experience with big data architecture and the Cloudera Hadoop platform is a strong plus, since the focus of the role will be leading the migration from the classical DWH to the Big Data platform. The most important criteria are excellent hands-on DWH programming experience as well as technical coaching and managing experience.
