Senior Drilling Engineer - Geneva - 200,000 Franc

Our client based inGenevais one of the largest Oil and Gas producers and Oil refiners in the world are looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer to add to their team.

They have evolved significantly from a pioneer into an established international Oil and Gas exploration and production company focused on Africa, the Middle East, and theNorth Sea.

Reporting to the Corporate Drilling Operations Manager the purpose of your role will include:

- Lead engineer for exploration and development well planning
- Support with drilling engineering and procedure writing
- Prepare Well Basis of Design and Technical Drilling Programs for Explorations Wells in line with the APC Exploration Well Delivery Process
- Develop well engineering plans
- Promote and encourage global learning and communication
- Support technical improvements in the well delivery process
- Identify technologies and solutions to optimize methods of drilling
- Undertake special drilling study on specific topics.
- Prepare final well report and conduct cost variance report
- Input to new APC drilling policies, procedures, manuals and guidelines

Required knowledge:

- Well design theory and practise
- Familiarity with safety management techniques
- Drilling optimisation techniques
- Latest technology applications related to well design
- Knowledge of standard drilling engineering software

Required experience:

- 10 years industry experience with an Operating Company in a well engineering/operations function
- Operational experience in West Africa andNorth Seawould be beneficial
- Offshore field experience as a drilling supervisor would be beneficial

Package:

- 200,000 Swiss Francs per annum
- 30,000 Swiss Franc Bonus per annum
- 30,000 Swiss Franc Pension
- 90% of school fees covered (Approx $30k out of $35k per year per child)
