Senior Devops Software Engineer - Cloud

A leading international consultancy are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer to join an exciting Greenfields project in Amstelveen.

The engineer is reporting to the EMA RDC Director of digital services and is responsible for the delivery and support of (one of the) projects in relation to:

- Designing, implementing, supporting and testing new Azure functionality/applications
- Technical support with external technical teams and outsourced provider
- Identification and realization of automation/cost containment opportunities through analysis of stead-state activities and automate repeatable tasks and activities where possible

Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Contribute significantly to the design, architect, building and support of a complex and robust cloud services automation platform inspired by the most modern approaches to software and infrastructure architecture
- Help set and implement technical vision and product road-map
- Implement security and data integrity solutions meeting the highest enterprise standards
- Stay up-to-date on latest developments in artificial intelligence, block chain and other technologies
- Participate in the evaluation and incubation of new audit & tax applications
- Drive analytics agenda, leveraging data sets to inform business recommendations
- Build progressive learning culture

Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience developing Cloud Native/Micro Services applications
- 5+ years of experience developing multi-client enterprise SaaS applications
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry where there is need for 'bullet proof' IT (performance, security and data integrity)
- Experience developing and maintaining consistent and usable APIs
- Experience working with application stores, subscription business models and billing automation
- Experience developing and bringing to market innovative user interfaces and user experiences
- Previous early stage start-up experience
- Familiarity with audit or tax sector
