SENIOR DEVOPS AWS ENGINEERS/TECHNICAL ARCHITECT - 6 Month Contract Dublin, really exciting project - DO YOU WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN THE AUTOMATION AND MIGRATION OF LARGE SCALE PLATFORMS TO THE CLOUD? MY CLIENT NEED TALENTED DEVOPS ENGINEERS TO WORK ON CUTTING EDGE GREEN FIELD AND TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS.
DO YOU HAVE A NUMBER OF YEARS' EXPERIENCE WITH CLOUD MIGRATIONS, AUTOMATION AND PROVISIONING. HAVE YOU EXPERIENCE WITH CHEF, UNIX (REDHAT), AWS, CLOUDFORMATION?
Description:
We require a Senior DevOps Engineer for a key role in the migration and deployment of web applications to AMAZON WEB SERVICES environments in an agile working model.
Based in Dublin, this is a key engineering role requiring very strong technical and communications skills.
The DevOps engineer will have responsibility in the design, execution and rollout of DevOps frameworks, and tools to migrate key high visibility products to Amazon Web Services, collaborating with cross project teams of developers, test engineers and product stakeholders within an Agile environment.
Very strong infrastructure and automation skills are essential.
Experience in CHEF/OpsWorks, AWS architecture (ELB, EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudformation, Security Groups), DevOps practices, Unix (RedHat), networking, webservices architecture and CDN are an advantage for this hands on role.
